1. Who we are
Arise Motion is a neuro-physiotherapy practice run by Dr. Vidhi Zala in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We provide physiotherapy at patients’ homes, by video consultation, and by phone and WhatsApp guidance. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Arise Motion.
2. What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, preferred time for a call, and the condition or concern you describe in our call-back form or on a call.
- Home address and access details, so that we can arrange a home visit.
- Health information you share: medical history, reports, prescriptions, and photos or short videos of movement sent on WhatsApp or shown during a session.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic details such as IP address, browser and device type, to keep the site secure and working.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and call you back.
- To schedule and carry out home visits, video consultations and follow-ups.
- To assess your condition, plan and deliver treatment, and keep appropriate clinical records.
- To improve our website and services.
- To meet legal and professional obligations.
We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not contact you for marketing without your separate consent.
4. Consent
By submitting our call-back form, calling us or messaging us, you agree that we may use your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect what we did before, and we may not be able to continue care if we no longer have the information we need.
6. Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including: access limited to Dr. Vidhi Zala; phone and laptop protected by a passcode or biometric lock; an email account protected with two-step verification; and details from our website form sent by encrypted email and not stored on the website. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and messaging apps such as WhatsApp have their own security and privacy terms.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 6 months if you do not go on to receive care, and patient records for 3 years after your last session (for children, until 3 years after they turn 18), unless the law requires a longer period. After that we delete or anonymise them.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop using your information, by withdrawing your consent.
To make a request or a complaint, contact our grievance officer, Dr. Vidhi Zala, at physio.by.drvidhi@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
9. Children
Many of our patients are children. When a patient is under 18, we collect and use information with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who may use the rights above on the child’s behalf.
11. Other websites
Our site may link to WhatsApp, Instagram and other third-party services. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top.
